olim ( オリム ) では、人や自然によって形作られた物の収集と販売をしています。
物には、嘗てそれが作られた由来があり、ある時代、ある場所で人の手に収まっていた過去があります。
しかし、本来その物が持っていた物語は時の流れの中で失われ、その空白に新たな物語が与えられることもあります。
そのような物に宿る時間や記憶は、本に記された詩のようでもあり、短編小説のようでもあり、ときには長編小説のようです。
olim は物を通して、それに纏わる物語の収集と販売をしていると言えます。
読書をするように、その物の語りに耳を澄ませていただければ幸いです。


olim collects and sells objects shaped by human hands and by nature.
Each object has an origin: a past in which it was made, and a time and place where it once rested in someone’s hands.
Over time, however, the original story an object carried may fade away. In the space left behind, a new story may come to dwell.
The time and memory held within such objects are like poems written in a book, like short stories, and at times, like long novels.
Through these objects, olim may be said to collect and offer the stories that surround them.
We hope you will listen closely to the quiet voice of each object, as though reading a book.
