olim ( オリム ) では、人や自然によって形作られた物の収集と販売をしています。
物には、嘗てそれが作られた由来があり、ある時代のある場所に居た人々の手に収まっていた過去があります。
物が持っていた本来の物語が消失し、換わりに新たな物語を内包することもあります。
そのような様々な物と物語は、詩のようであり、短編の小説のようであり、長編の小説のようです。
olim は物を通して、それに纏わる物語の収集と販売をしていると言えます。
本を手に取って読書をするように、その物の語りに耳を澄ませていただければ幸いです。


At olim, we collect and sell objects shaped by human hands and nature.
Each item carries a history—its origin, the time and place it was made, and the people who once held it.
Some objects have lost their original stories and taken on new ones in their place.
These stories vary: some are like poems, some like short stories, and others like long novels.
In this sense, olim is not only about collecting objects, but also the stories they carry.
We hope that, just as you would open a book to read, you will take a moment to listen to the quiet tales these objects have to tell.
